Bits of MIDItribe…

I modded the Korg Monotribe with the MIDI I/O kit available from Amazing Machines.  This is me buggering about with it:

It would’ve sounded amazing if I had another monotribe set an octave higher.

We’re in the middle of building a little expansion box to house the IN and OUT ports (as I don’t fancy drilling massive holes into the monotribe case), but I thought i’d upload something to show how well it works.

HALCYON

Pretty much the same as the other one, but with a little bit of drum sequencing as well.

The drums do sound a bit thin, but a bit of reverb solves that. I didn’t use reverb during the vid as this was recorded via aux input rather than an the amp section, so you’ll have to take my word for it.
